Open the Enhanced Skill window and inspect the skills available to your class and current level.

Choose the attack you want to improve, then trace its prerequisite line before spending points.

Read the option descriptions carefully: increased power, target count and area change do not solve the same problem.

Test the enhanced skill on the same monsters and update Helper settings if its range or behavior changed.
What makes the difference
Changing an attack's area can change which targets the Helper engages. A stronger skill that repeatedly leaves the spot may be less efficient.
