02 / THE WALKTHROUGH

Step by step

  1. 01

Check class and stat requirements first. An item that cannot be equipped is not an immediate upgrade.

  2. 02

Compare base damage or defense separately from Excellent options. Each option can solve a different build problem.

  3. 03

For an Ancient or Set item, count which pieces activate the next set bonus. A single strong-looking piece may not complete a useful breakpoint.

  4. 04

Test the full equipment arrangement, including lost set effects, rather than replacing one piece based only on its name.

03 / FROM THE FIELD

What makes the difference

A higher item level can come with worse usable options. Compare the complete build after equipping, not only the largest number on one tooltip.
