Prepare for the journey
Check off what you have ready before entering, crafting or changing your build.
Step by step
- 01
Meet weapon requirements first, then develop Strength for physical damage. Agility, Vitality and the Energy required for buffs serve different needs; a leveling build need not match a siege build.
- 02
Gather a manageable pack around Twisting Slash. Against a tough target, keep it in reach and watch AG as closely as HP. Learn the Marlon quest before trying to build around the classic combo.
- 03
Run a short, repeatable hunting test. Count deaths, potion use and completed kills before moving to harder enemies.
- 04
Complete the next class quest when eligible, then review the new skills and mastery tree before continuing your build.
What makes the difference
A skill-bearing weapon and an unlocked skill are different requirements. Buying a stronger sword does not automatically complete your class or combo quests.
There is no universal perfect stat ratio for every gear tier, map and party. Change one part of the build at a time so you know what improved.
