Prepare for the journey
Check off what you have ready before entering, crafting or changing your build.
Step by step
- 01
Use Energy for magic output after meeting equipment needs. Choose support skills that suit your party and keep enough HP and defense to remain present during long pulls.
- 02
Pair with White Wizard when available and confirm the Bond buff. A support cast should help the group maintain damage, not cause you to run through dangerous packs chasing a distant teammate.
- 03
Run a short, repeatable hunting test. Count deaths, potion use and completed kills before moving to harder enemies.
- 04
Complete the next class quest when eligible, then review the new skills and mastery tree before continuing your build.
What makes the difference
Mage uses an Orb and her own advancement names. A Dark Wizard staff and spell checklist is not a substitute for her class-specific equipment.
There is no universal perfect stat ratio for every gear tier, map and party. Change one part of the build at a time so you know what improved.
