Prepare for the journey
Check off what you have ready before entering, crafting or changing your build.
Step by step
- 01
Use Energy to support wizardry after meeting staff and armor requirements. Add enough Agility and Vitality to stop missing or dying at your chosen spot.
- 02
Start at the edge of a monster pack and let it gather into your spell area. Use Teleport to escape a dangerous pull; do not keep the Helper running at a spot where it cannot recover.
- 03
Run a short, repeatable hunting test. Count deaths, potion use and completed kills before moving to harder enemies.
- 04
Complete the next class quest when eligible, then review the new skills and mastery tree before continuing your build.
What makes the difference
A staff's wizardry bonus matters more than its physical attack. A shield can be a sensible leveling choice when the loss of an offensive offhand buys reliable survival.
There is no universal perfect stat ratio for every gear tier, map and party. Change one part of the build at a time so you know what improved.
