Prepare for the journey
Check off what you have ready before entering, crafting or changing your build.
Step by step
- 01
Pick a primary weapon and damage route. A physical MG emphasizes Strength and applicable physical skills; a magic MG invests in Energy and wizardry. Splitting evenly without a plan can leave both routes weak.
- 02
For a physical route, hold a compact pack inside your weapon skill. For magic, keep room to cast and test whether mana regeneration supports a full hunting cycle.
- 03
Run a short, repeatable hunting test. Count deaths, potion use and completed kills before moving to harder enemies.
- 04
Complete the next class quest when eligible, then review the new skills and mastery tree before continuing your build.
What makes the difference
MG does not follow the same early class-change chain as the starting classes. Use the quest overview to check the advancement stage shown on your own character.
There is no universal perfect stat ratio for every gear tier, map and party. Change one part of the build at a time so you know what improved.
